Start 'Em:
- Jamie Moyer: although almost 100 years old, this lefty will surely produce great numbers tomorrow as he faces the young, but atrocious Washington Nationals.
- Nate McLouth: last season's numbers might have been a slight fluke, but this guy can still play. Tomorrow he faces Brian Moehler, who in his last start, gave up 7 earned runs in less than 2 innings.
- Chien-Ming Wang: in his career, he owns the Rays. In 13 starts, he is 7-4 with a 3.35 ERA.
- Scott Kazmir: although he faces Wang, who I previously described as dominant against the Rays, Kazmir is even more dominant against the Yanks. He has a lifetime 4-4 record with a 2.51 ERA and a K/9 greater than 9. Also, the American League could be in trouble because his slider is back this year.
Sit 'Em:
- The Heart of the Reds Order: the combination of Joey Votto, Brandon Phillips, and Jay Bruce has the potential to be one of the best in baseball, but tomorrow they face Yovani Gallardo, a pitcher that could easily emerge as the NL Cy Young Winner at the end of the year (if he does not get injured).
- Daniel Cabrera: all that needs to be said is that this flyball pitcher faces the Phillies.
- Koji Uehara: although he was able to shut down the Yankees all-star lineup last start, he did not record even one stikeout. Now he goes against the rediculous lineup of the Rangers, and I expect him to get shelled.
